Held on Sunday, November 16, 2025, the Miss University of Central Arkansas Scholarship Competition showcased the talent, intelligence, and leadership of remarkable UCA students. The College of Business was proudly represented by four outstanding women who not only participated but also earned recognition for their efforts and excellence. We are proud of you all!

– Abby Bounds: Information Systems Major, Awarded Third Runner Up, Producers Award, Miss Congeniality, Overall Evening Gown Award, and People’s Choice Award



With 10 regional winners competing in this category, UCA came out on top! Several schools and the American Institute of Public Accounting have requested the game to be used to promote accounting as a great major and a great career. Lucas Hayes, Rebecca Gaither, and Izzy Saettele were the presenters of the project that brought home the win!

This spring UCA Accounting majors participated in the Volunteer Income Tax (VITA) program at United Way of Central Arkansas (UWCA). The VITA program delivers financial support to hundreds of families across Central Arkansas through free tax preparation and filing services. Students participate in this program each year with mentorship from
