International Transfer/Post-Baccalaureate Students

1. Application for International Admission

If you are currently an undergraduate student at UCA, and want to continue your studies as a post-baccalaureate student start your online application here (DO NOT COMPLETE THIS APPLICATION IF YOU ARE NOT A PREVIOUS UCA STUDENT).

If you are currently studying at a community college/university OR completed your bachelors degree (undergraduate degree) at another institutionstart your online application here.


2. Non-Refundable $50.00 Application Fee

  • Application Fee must be paid before your admission packet will be sent.  Instructions will be given on a later date.

Courier Fee: After you have been admitted your admission packet will be shipped using eShip Global. Instructions will be sent to you. If you are currently attending a US institution, we will mail your packet to your US address.

3. Copy of the biographical page of your passport

To ensure accuracy of your immigration documentation, a copy of the biographical page of your passport is required for admission.  You may scan and email a copy of your passport to your admissions counselor.


4. Proof of Financial Support

U.S. Immigration Law requires that all F-1 and J-1 students demonstrate sufficient funds available for their educational expenses prior to immigration document issuance (Forms I-20 or DS-2019). International students who reside on campus are eligible for the out-of-state tuition waiver. Find the Estimated Cost of Attendance Undergraduate Students.

  • Undergraduate students, who wish to live On Campus, must submit all of the following (these forms can be uploaded to the application website):
    1. Documentation of Financial Resources Bank statement from within last six months with ending balance of $20,400.00 USD for an academic year (2 semesters) of study.
    2. Financial Support Statement If the bank statement is not in your name, you must provide a Sponsorship Letter. Students sponsored by the Saudi Arabian Government may submit the financial guarantee instead of this form.
    3. Declaration of Intent to Live On Campus There is a check box in the application that indicates your intent to live on campus.
  • Undergraduate students,who wish to live Off Campus, must submit all of the following:
    1. Documentation of Financial Resources. Bank statement from within last six months that shows ending balance of $29,200.00 USD for an academic year (2 semesters) of study
    2. Financial Support Statement If the bank statement is not in your name, you must provide a Sponsorship Letter. Students sponsored by the Saudi Arabian Government may submit the financial guarantee instead of this form.

5. Academic Records

Transfer/Post-Baccalaureate Applicants must submit official transcripts/mark sheets from each college or university attended (translated into English).  You must have a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale to qualify for admission. All non-U.S. transcripts must be accompanied by a credential evaluation from IEE, Span Tran, WES or one of these accredited evaluators.

Students with less than 24 earned credit hours must also meet minimum International Undergraduate Admission requirements and must submit high school transcripts.

If an applicant is in the first semester at an accredited college in the United States, an official transcript from the Registrar’s Office showing courses ‘In Progress’ is required.

In order to ensure that you receive the maximum amount of transfer credit possible, it is imperative that you also submit official course descriptions (translated into English) with your transcripts and credential evaluation request.

6. Proof of English Language Proficiency

Please take a look at this page for a list of required test scores. If you are a citizen of an exempt country, and you can provide a letter from your school indicating the language of instruction, you can be exempt from providing proof of language proficiency.


7. Immigration Documents (ONLY for students who are transferring from a US institution)

If you have an active I-20 from a US institution, you must provide the following documents:

  • I-20 Transfer Form

If you are transferring from a different institution in the United States, you must be in good standing at your current institution. Remember, your SEVIS record will be transferred to UCA! In order to do so, please ask your DSO (Designated School Official) at your current school to complete Section B of the I-20 Transfer Form. This form provides preliminary information to help us determine your eligibility for SEVIS record transfer to UCA.

Your SEVIS record can only be transferred after a letter of admission is issued by our office!

Note to DSOs: Do not transfer student’s SEVIS record until letter of admission is issued.

  • A copy of your student visa(s)

  • A print out of I-94 arrival and departure record (can be accessed on this page)

  • A copy of your I-20 (or DS-2019)

Note to Nursing Applicants

Please check the Nursing Department website for specific information related to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.  NOTE: Your admission to UCA with an intended major of nursing is equivalent to being admitted to UCA with a pre-nursing major.

Note to All Applicants

UCA does not tolerate forged documentation; applications submitted with such documentation will be denied.

Incomplete applications and supporting documents are not retained past the semester of application. If you wish to continue your application to a later semester, you must notify International Admissions prior to the start of that semester. If you do not inform us of your intent to continue your application to a later semester, you must to reapply and resubmit your application documents.
