Dr. Riva Brown, Global Learning Specialist, is also an Associate Professor of Public Relations in the School of Communication. She began working at UCA in August 2013 and lives in Conway.

Education:

  • Ph.D. Mass Communication, University of Southern Mississippi (2013)
  • M.S. Public Relations, USM (1998)
  • B.A. Journalism, USM (1993)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage UCA’s Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) program
  • Provide leadership and assistance to support long- and short-term co-curricular global and intercultural programming through CGLE’s Global Spotlight programs
  • Serve as Global Learning Faculty Liaison on the Global Learning Advisory Committee, which begins its work in fall 2023
  • Help promote and implement Global Learning Scholar Program
