Conway does not currently have a public transportation system. However, International Affairs provides some services to assist international students.
- We understand that arriving in a new place can be overwhelming and confusing. International Affairs will provide transportation from the Little Rock National Airport to UCA for first-time students. We do ask that you provide approximately one week advance notice so we can make arrangements to have someone at the airport to meet you. Unfortunately, we can not provide this service for continuing students.
- Each Sunday a bus departs from campus to take international students to local shopping areas. Students use this time to purchase groceries and any other supplies needed. This service is provided free of charge.
- There is a relatively inexpensive local taxi service that many students use for transportation around Conway. They can be contacted at (501) 730-4110.
Most international students purchase bicycles after they arrive. New bicycles can be purchased at WalMart for around $100. There are often used bicycles available to purchase for less.
