The student field experience waiver describes the roles and purposes of field experiences, establishes the consequences of inappropriate conduct, clarifies the risks and students’ responsibilities for field experiences, and releases the University from liability.

Students are encouraged to secure personal teacher liability insurance available through a variety of organizations. Some of these options are listed below. For those candidates who are still covered by their parents’ insurance, you should consult them about that coverage to see if it is sufficient.
