Event Overview
The Iron Bears Powerlifting Meet will feature all three lifts, squat, bench press, and deadlift, completed on the same day. Each participant will be placed into a flight with scheduled warm-up and lift times. The competition is open to 25 total lifters, with a waitlist available once registration fills.
Lifters will compete in gender-based weight classes, where the class number represents the maximum allowable body weight. Scoring will follow the Wilks Formula, with awards presented to the top three competitors in each weight class.
Warm-up time is built into the schedule, and participants may opt out of a lift if needed for safety. The T-Rec floor will include a dedicated spectator zone, main lifting area, and warm-up section to ensure a safe and engaging experience for everyone.
Spectators: UCA students are invited to attend for free. Policies for non-UCA guests will be announced soon.
