Bicycle Return and Use Policy
All customers must wait until the following day, after the return date, before their next bicycle use.
Gear Use Policy
- The Gear Locker is located in the southeast corner of the Thomas C. Courtway Student Recreation Center.
- Gear is available to check-out for current students, faculty, and staff at no charge. A student, faculty or staff ID is required to check out any gear.
- Gear may be checked out for daily or over-night usage, but only for a maximum of (7) days.
- Return gear on time or before the deadline date and in good condition.
- Failure to return gear by the deadline would result in a $3 late fee per day overdue.
- Gear that is lost, broken, or damaged must be paid for at the replacement cost.
- Your UCA records may be flagged if all gear checked-out is not returned on time and in good condition.
Personal Bike Repair Policy
-
Campus Outdoors will continue to provide maintenance and repair labor to UCA Community personal bikes at no charge.
-
Patrons seeking assistance repairing their personal bikes must contact a bike mechanic through the “Personal Bike Repair” topic in the Campus Outdoors GroupMe and agree on a time to meet with them.
-
Patrons are responsible for discussing any issues that they wish to address with the mechanic beforehand.
-
Patrons are responsible for obtaining the correct replacement parts and bringing them to this meeting.
-
If the bike is not repaired by the end of the session, the patron must leave with their bike to return at a later date.
-
Patrons are no longer allowed to leave their personal bikes in the Gear Locker.
