There are lots of important and fun events to attend during Welcome Week. We’ve highlighted some of them in the other domains, but this item is a catch-all for other sessions. If you attended any of these sessions during Welcome Week and scanned in using your CubConnect event pass, you have already earned credit for this item.

Visit one academic support service
Student Success Services offers an incredible amount of support to help you succeed in the classroom. At some point or another, you will utilize one of their services as a UCA student. Recognizing when to ask for help is an important step but knowing where to go is the next step. It’s a good idea to utilize at least one of these services before you need help. You’ll only need to take advantage of one of these services to earn credit for this item, but you should continue to utilize all as many times as you need them.

Participate in one wellness activity
UCA offers many wellness related activities to improve and support all dimensions of wellness. While many of the options below are a part of Campus Recreation & Wellness, there are additional opportunities to earn this item listed below.
- Walk the Jewel Moore Nature Reserve Trail. Click here for a trail map.
- Attend a group exercise class at the Thomas C. Courtway Student Recreation Center
- Participate in an intramural sport
- Check-out gear from Campus Outdoors Gear Locker
- Attend the One Pill Can Kill training on September 2 from 12-1pm
- Receive an appropriate vaccination for you from the Student Health Clinic
- Give blood at a blood drive on campus – September 21 & September 23, 10am-3pm, in front of the Student Center. More dates to follow!

Throughout the year there are numerous fairs hosted on campus, each with a special focus.

- September 24 – RSO Fair – Ronnie Williams Student Center Courtyard – 12-3pm
- October 1 – Majors Fair – Ronnie Williams Student Center Ballroom – 12:30-3pm
- October 7 – STEM/Grad School Fair – Ronnie Williams Student Center Ballroom – 9am-12pm
- November 4 – Health Career Fair – Ronnie Williams Student Center Ballroom – 9am-12pm
- November 5 – Fall Career Fair – Ronnie Williams Student Center Ballroom – 9am-12pm
- November 17 – Global Expo – Old Main Lawn – 12:00-3:00pm
There are typically no campus wide fairs held in January or February.

Complete a career assessment
Academic Advising offers a MyMajors Assessment to help you evaluate which UCA major(s) align with your personal interests. Careers Services offers Focus 2 Career Assessment to help you explore occupations to make more informed career decisions.
When taking an assessment, be sure to enter your BearCard and UCA email address when compling the assessment.
To earn credit: Upload the page of your report with your name included and complete the attached form that requires uploading the picture.
Watch a StudentLingo Workshop
Student Success Services offers online workshops hosted through StudentLingo. Workshops are available 24/7 and are hosted on a variety of different topics to help your development in and out of the classroom.
To earn credit: Complete a workshop and we will work directly with Student Success Services to track and update your progress on a monthly basis.
