Summer 2023 Accounting Internship • Green Bay Packaging (Conway)

Green Bay Packaging, Fiber Resource Division, is seeking an accounting intern to provide overall support to our accounting team in the summer of 2023. The ideal candidate will have completed their junior year in accounting and be familiar with GAAP and proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook. The intern will support a wide range of accounting processes and will be allowed to sit in on operations and staff meetings to learn how our business works. The full-time (40hrs/week) summer internship would start May 22nd and end August 11th. Pay starts at $18.00 per hour.

Spring & Summer 2024 Internship • Forvis (Little Rock and other locations)

As an intern at FORVIS, you will gain valuable experience that may help you decide whether you want to start your career in audit or tax, or even whether public accounting is right for you. You will work on client engagements like those assigned to our entry-level associates, gaining exposure to a variety of industries and testing out your technical know-how. You will work alongside our senior staff and management personnel, learning from their experience as you develop your skillset. Depending on local office needs, internships are available in audit, tax, or a combination of the two and can be part-time or full-time. Generally, spring semester internships run from mid-January through April 15th, and summer internships can typically run from June through mid-August.

Six UCA Accounting majors that meet eligibility requirements WILL BE AWARDED this scholarship. Eligibility: accounting major, completed 75 hours including 12 in accounting, 3.5 GPA. Winners are announced in late spring, and the scholarship pays out in Summer 2023 and/or Fall 2023.

Beta Alpha Psi Diversity Equity Inclusion Scholarship

Beta Alpha Psi have over 300 chapters in the US and service many communities. In an effort to expand representation in these communities, the AICPA Foundation has approved BAP for a grant to help us to broaden our membership inclusion of underrepresented minority students. For the 2022-2023 year, recipients of this scholarship will receive $75 for the one-time BAP international membership fee. Applicants must be eligible to join Beta Alpha Psi by meeting these requirements:

  • Are members of underrepresented racial or ethnic groups
  • Majoring in accounting, finance, business analytics, or information systems
  • Obtained an overall GPA of 3.0
  • An active candidate in UCA’s Beta Alpha Psi Chapter (Fall 2023 or Spring 2024)

U Storage/ Conway Property Group Needs Assistant Manager

U Storage/ Conway Property Group is looking for its next assistant manager.

“Enthusiastically serving others through the transitions of life the way Christ first served us.” That is our mission statement at U Storage/ Conway Property Group. Moving has been consistently ranked as one of the most stressful experiences someone can go through in life, and it is our mission to serve these people well and make that experience as smooth as possible. U Storage is a storage facility chain and third party U-Haul dealer started in Conway in 2008. U Storage now has seven locations in Arkansas with more well on the way. Conway Property Group is only getting bigger as well. It is certainly an exciting time to come aboard.
We answer phone calls for all seven U Storage locations, and we handle leasing for rental homes owned by Conway Property Group. Pay starts at $13 an hour, and we need someone who is able to work 25 hours a week. Shifts can be 10 hours at the longest (8 am to 6pm) This job is fairly flexible, but we need someone with a reasonably open class schedule particularly Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.
