How it’s possible.
The Windgate Center for Fine and Performing Arts, made possible by a transformative $20 million matching gift from the Windgate Foundation, will revolutionize the arts experience for students, faculty and arts patrons.
Along with the Windgate Foundation’s incredibly generous leadership gift of $20 million, the UCA Board of Trustees dedicated state bonds to the construction of this facility. The remainder of the capital funds needed to complete this transformative project are being raised by University Advancement.
How it’s designed.
The cutting-edge design of the facility allows visual art, theatre, and music students to better inform one another’s artistic endeavors, and will foster new collaborative partnerships for students and faculty across multiple academic disciplines.
These interdisciplinary experiences directly impact the cultural and economic needs of communities across the state, region, and beyond by producing graduates that are critical thinkers and creative problem solvers.
In addition to providing much-needed class, studio, rehearsal, and performance spaces worthy of our exceptional faculty and students, the new Windgate Center for Fine and Performing Arts further establishes UCA as a leader in the arts and a destination for exceptional cultural experiences for future generations.
How you can help.
A project of this magnitude needs private support, and we call on our alumni, arts donors, and friends of the University to step up at a time when they are needed the most. Gifts can be made in a variety of ways and we would be very happy to discuss this process with anyone inquiring.
