Anthony is originally from Bossier City, Louisiana. He received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Wellness from Northwestern State University (NSU) in Natchitoches, Louisiana. In 2010, he completed his Masters of Science in Sports Management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR).

While at NSU, Anthony served as the goalkeeper coach for Women’s Soccer and coached Boy’s Soccer for Natchitoches High School. As part of his soccer background, Anthony also coached for the Louisiana Olympic Development Program. Prior to leaving for Arkansas, he served as an educator and athletic director for Claiborne Christian School in West Monroe, Louisiana.

Since 2003, Anthony has been a member of the Arkansas Army National Guard. As a member of the 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, he has two deployments as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Anthony received the Combat Medical Badge while serving as the Executive Officer for Charlie (MED) Company, 39th Brigade Support Battalion.

Prior to arriving at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA), Anthony worked as the Executive Director of the Little Rock Futbol Club and as the Complex Manager at Centennial Soccer Park in Conway, Arkansas. At UCA, he serves as the Outdoor Facilities Manager and Assistant Intramural Coordinator.
