WHAT IS 3MT?
The goal of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition is to allow
doctoral and masters students to present their research in a brief,
interesting manner to their campus, colleagues, and peers. Like its
name suggests, the presentation from each student is to be no
more than three minutes and involves only one static PowerPoint
Slide. Additional information can be found on the 3MT website.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Doctoral and Master’s Thesis students who have started work on
their research are eligible. No more than 10 students per program
may enter into 3MT at UCA.
– Must be their own research
– Must have a research proposal already defended and approved.
– Either already have results to present or preliminary results
