Eligibility:
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Federal Pell grant eligible as determined by the FAFSA
- High School GPA of at least 3.0
- UCA Freshman starting Fall 2021
- Intend to graduate with a degree in chemistry or biochemistry from UCA (includes pre-pharmacy, pre-dentistry, and pre-med)
Continued Eligibility (must satisfy each semester)
- Federal Pell grant eligible as determined by the FAFSA
- UCA Cumulative GPA of at least 2.75
- Continued progress towards degree in chemistry or biochemistry
Expected Participation (must complete each academic year)
- 6 of 8 Mentorship Circle sessions
- 1-2 industry site visits per year
- 9 of 40 UCA American Chemical Society (ACS) student chapter events Facebook, Instagram, Twitter: @ucaacs
- STEM Career Fair
- 2 online professional mentorship interviews
Application Checklist:
Due March 1st, 2021
- Apply to UCA
- Complete the 2021/2022 FAFSA
- Complete the ATOM Scholars online application
- Complete the UCA Housing Application and select the STEM Residential College Living and Learning Community
