ATOM Scholars

 

The ATOM Scholars program aims to support academically talented students who demonstrate financial need (Pell grant eligible) and intend to graduate with an undergraduate degree in chemistry or biochemistry from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). ATOM Scholars will receive scholarships up to $10,000 annually for up to four years, in addition to mentoring, academic support and professional development opportunities.

Eligibility:
  • U.S. Citizen or permanent resident
  • Federal Pell grant eligible as determined by the 2020/2021 FAFSA
  • ACT Superscore of 22-26 (or SAT score of 1100-1250)
  • UCA Freshman starting Fall 2020
  • Intend to graduate with a degree in chemistry or biochemistry from UCA (includes pre-pharmacy, pre-dentistry, and pre-med)

Applications due May 1st, 2020 (or until spots filled) with application reviews beginning February 7th, 2020.

Women and students from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
