How do I apply for housing?

The UCA Housing application is now online!

To apply:
1. Log into myUCA. (my.uca.edu)
2. Click the tab at the top labeled “MyUCA.”
3. Click the button that says “myHousing.”
4. Click on the Fall 2019 Freshmen tab.
5. This will log you into the UCA Housing Portal, you must log in via the my.uca.edu page.
6. Click on the Application Tab and select “Start Here” from the drop-down menu.
7. Follow the application instructions presented to you on the website.
8. Pay the $100 deposit.

Freshmen Students Applying for Fall 2019:

Students wishing to room together MUST request the same Residence Hall.

Apply between October 15th, 2018 – February 14th, 2019 and you will go through the room selection process the week of March 1st.  Log on to myUCA >myHousing and select your own room!

If you apply February 15th, 2019 and after, you will be assigned on the 15th of the following month based on your preferences pending availability.

All roommate requests received after February 14th cannot be guaranteed.

You will not be able to search for your roommate until they have completed their housing application.

Your roommate requests must accept your request in myUCA>myHousing before you are considered “matched”. Unmatched roommate groups will not see each other during room selection.

FRESHMAN STUDENTS:

For students with roommate requests, you must apply and be accepted into the same halls.  For Bear Hall, Baridon Hall, Short/Denney Hall, Arkansas Hall, and Hughes Hall all roommate matches must apply and be accepted into the same Residential College program. These Halls are reserved for the Living Learning Communities associated with each hall.  Please see the admissions criteria for each hall listed on their respective page.

 

Residential College program acceptance takes priority. You will find out if you were accepted in to a Residential College on February 26th.  Specific roommate requests must be accepted into the same Residential College program to receive assignments together.
