Outstanding juniors and seniors interested in going abroad after graduation to do research, to begin a graduate program, or to teach English are encouraged to attend an informational meeting about Student Fulbright grant opportunities on Tuesday, November 9, at X period in the Farris Residence Hall Presentation Room. (Look for the single glass door facing the HPER Center.)  To be eligible, students must be American citizens. CPA Evolution–What Aspiring CPAs Need to Know (AICPA)

Tue, Nov 9 • 12:00-1:00p • Virtual

It’s never been a more exciting time to pursue a CPA license. The role of today’s CPA has evolved, and newly licensed CPAs are taking on new responsibilities traditionally assigned to more experienced staff. Becoming a CPA means you’ll need deeper skill sets, more competencies, and greater knowledge of emerging technologies. That’s why the CPA licensure model is changing. A restructured version of the CPA Exam, aligned with the CPA Evolution initiative, will launch in 2024. This exclusive AICPA Student Member webcast is meant for anyone who plans to test during that time, even if you start the Exam process before the updated Exam launches.
