Leadership in Service-Learning Award Criteria: Recipients take initiative and are committed to the ongoing development of academic service-learning. Students will be recognized for their leadership role in the service-learning portion of the course, level of responsibility to help address the needs of the community, nation, and/or world, and for how well they worked with others to achieve common goals.
Please provide a brief narrative explaining how the nominee or group of nominees fulfill the award criteria, including what service-learning course(s) the student or group of students have participated in and when (300-500 words).
Spirit of Humanity Award Criteria: Recipients exemplify a spirit and concern for overall well-being and rights of individuals served. Students will be recognized for their contribution to the betterment of the human condition, their engagement as a citizen for the good of the community, nation, and/or world, and their appreciation of local, national, and/or global diversity.

Exceptional Achievement in Service-Learning: Recipients demonstrate sustained commitment to excellence in service-learning, exhibit dedication to community partners, articulate the importance of service within the context of the academic course, incorporate the service-learning experience into personal/professional goals, perspectives, and values, and display outstanding academic performance related to the service-learning course.
