Dr. Paul Nail will present on his theory and research on social influence at a conference titled “Science Meets Social Science” in Wroclaw, Poland, in March 2017. Dr. Nail’s model of ways people respond when pressured to conform to a group was picked up by a group of professors from Wroclaw, Poland, who work in an emerging area of physics known as socio-physical modeling. During his trip to Poland, Dr. Nail will be a visiting professor at the Department of Theoretical Physics, University of Science and Technology in Poland.
