Pick-A-Room Process

The ‘Pick-A-Room’ process allows current/returning residents the chance to choose their room for the next academic year. If you desire to move to a different residence hall or apartment, this is your best chance at reserving your room in your preferred on-campus housing option!

You are eligible for the Pick-A-Room Process if:

  • You have a completed 2024-2025 Housing Application
  • Have a $100 Housing Deposit on file
  • Have a signed Lease Agreement for the 2024-2025 Academic Year
  • Are in academic good standing
  • Are an upperclassmen student (sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student; freshmen are not eligible for the pick-a-room process)

If you are eligible for the pick-a-room process, you will receive numerous emails to your UCA issued email address with updates on dates and times for the pick-a-room process.

How Does it Work?

– Students are assigned a time-slot to be able to enter into the ‘pick-a-room’ portal beginning on April 2nd and ending on April 12th
– Time slots are allocated based off the Lease Agreement Signing Date which began on October 1st, 2023.
– You will receive an email of your issued time-slot; once the time passes, you will have access to the ‘pick-a-room’ portal on my.uca.edu in the MyHousing Portal.
– Select the ‘Pick-a-Room’ Image Button located on the homepage of your MyHousing Portal.
– We highly recommend that you enter into the portal as soon as the time-slot opens to give each student the greatest opportunity to choose their preferred room!
