Greek Recruitment Information

Per university policy, eligibility for participating in the recruitment or membership intake process is limited to students in good standing.

  • All potential new members must be enrolled as full-time students. Full-time is defined as 12 hours for undergraduate students and 9 hours for graduate students.
  • Entering freshmen must have a minimum 2.5 high school grade point average on their high school transcript.
  • Transfer students must have at least a 2.5 grade point average on all previous college course work. Transitional classes (also known as developmental courses) do not count toward this GPA requirement.
  • Current UCA students must have at least a 2.5 UCA grade point average.
    • “Current UCA student” status is defined as having completed 12 UCA credit hours. Transitional courses do not count towards the 12 UCA hours completed.

Beyond this minimum standard established by the University, individual fraternity and sorority chapters and/or councils may have higher standards for eligibility.

All fraternity and sorority new members will be required to attend a new member orientation.
