Important Financial Aid Dates

The following dates are set to ensure that the student’s federal financial aid funds will be available by the University’s fee payment deadline.

The financial aid office will contact the student through their UCA e-mail address if there are outstanding requirements.  The student can also check the status of their financial aid by using the Self-Service tab in myUCA

Students must be prepared to pay for tuition, fees, room, board, books, and other related expenses from personal sources (checking, savings, credit card, etc) if their financial aid is not ready to disburse by the published fee payment deadline.

Fall Federal Financial Aid Priority Deadline:  April 15

Eligible students who have a complete and accurate file by this date are more likely to receive certain funds that are limited in nature, such as the Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) or Perkins Loans.

Fall Federal Financial Aid Deadline:  July 1

Eligible students who have their file complete and accurate by this date are more likely to have funds available by the University fee payment deadline.  Files completed after this date will continue to be processed, but we cannot guarantee that your aid package will be ready before classes begin or fee payment deadlines.  Students are advised to make alternate payment arrangements to avoid late fees as well as purchase books and supplies.

Spring Federal Financial Aid Deadline:  November 15

Eligible students who have their file complete and accurate by this date are more likely to have funds available by the University fee payment deadline.  Files completed after this date will continue to be processed, but we cannot guarantee that your aid package will be ready before classes begin or fee payment deadlines.  Students are advised to make alternate payment arrangements to avoid late fees as well as purchase books and supplies.
