Greetings All,
Our 2019 spring semester is well under way and our students and faculty are all doing great things! All of the studios are buzzing with creativity and the art education and art history classrooms are filled with our brightest and best future historians and educators! We are truly excited about the future of our department and the direction it is taking. By now you may have heard about the “largest single monetary gift” in the history of UCA. Yes, I am talking about the announcement of the Windgate Foundation’s gift to fund our new Visual and Performing Art Center. The faculty and the students are all excited and looking forward to the day we all move into this great facility. So please celebrate with us for this long awaited facility, tell your friends and other art enthusiasts about our news and our newsletter.
