All international students are required to have health insurance. The cost of this is added to your tuition and fees each semester. You will pay for 5 months of coverage in August and 7 months of coverage in January, so you will be covered all year.
If you would like to have a waiver of UCA's insurance, you must:
- provide a copy of your policy IN ENGLISH showing that you have insurance that meets or exceeds UCA's insurance policy.
- apply for the waiver each semester by the last day to drop/add classes.
Students who do not provide proof of alternative insurance or are late in requesting the waiver will be charged for UCA insurance and no refund will be given if the information is provided after the last day of drop/add.
