State Aid Programs

Renewal requirements for state based scholarship programs (Academic Challenge, Governor’s Scholarship, etc) are administered by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE). Due to impacts of COVID-19, the renewal requirements for the 2019-2020 academic year were revised.
ADHE reviewed the total of Fall 2019 hours earned and Spring 2020 hours enrolled as of March 20th to determine if a student met eligibility to be renewed to the 2020-2021 academic year. If students were required to take summer classes to meet these requirements, students are responsible for submitting their transcripts to ADHE prior to October 1, 2020.   • DWS provides services and resources including:
    • Possible assistance with tuition, fees, books, childcare, and other education-related assistance through the Workforce Improvement Act.
