Daylan Moore, Ed.S., LAC, NCC, joined the UCA Counseling Staff in August of 2023. Daylan received his Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from Harding University in 2019. Then, he earned a Master’s degree (M.S.) and an Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021, also from Harding University (CACREP-Accredited Program). Daylan is working on his Ph.D. in Counseling and Psychological Studies (emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology) from Regent University, with plans to finish in 2025. Daylan has clinical experience working with individuals and groups across the lifespan in outpatient, acute hospitalization, and college community mental health settings. He enjoys working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, life adjustments, racial identity, race-based traumatic stress, and religious identity. Daylan is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) that informs his clinical utilization of person-centered, solution-focused, and multicultural/social justice counseling practices. Additionally, Daylan has taught undergraduate and Masters-level psychology and counseling courses.
