Our Chemistry/Biochemistry Departmental Seminar Series provides a platform for our students to stay abreast of potential career paths and opportunities within the sciences. In addition, hosting speakers enhances and broadens faculty awareness of new fields and can lead to collaborative endeavors. Topics and speakers encompass a wide spectrum of science-based careers that include academia, industry, government, and K-12 education. Our seminar series affords our students the chance to initiate vital networking contacts contributing to their professional development whether it be acceptance into post-graduate programs, securing employment, or increasing their general knowledge.
