Last semester, UCA Art students joined together on a Thursday evening after a long day of classes to give back to the patients of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Students participated in a rock painting event in the Black Box Gallery. They painted the rocks to be hid on St. Jude’s campus for the patients to find as a fun game. UCA artist really enjoyed getting to paint rocks, hangout with friends, and make some art just for fun. About 15 students showed up and painted about a 100 rocks! The event was a huge success, there are plans to have the same event again in the future.
