University Overview

A distinctive feature of the Mahidol University International College (MUIC) curriculum is its strong focus on liberal arts and the promotion of a learning culture that prepares its students to meet the challenges of living and working in the 21st century.

Inbound exchange students engage in studies at MUIC for a fixed period of time, from one trimester up to one academic year, as part of the study abroad programs at their home universities. They have a choice of approximately 400 courses each trimester in the Arts, Sciences and Management. Moreover, exchange students are encouraged to take the Thai Language and Culture course to broaden their understanding of Thailand and its people.

MUIC is located in Nakhon Pathom, just outside of Bangkok.

Study Abroad Credits

Typically students take the equivalent of 12 to 15 credit hours abroad. Check with our office for more information about your specific options.

Students are able to take a variety of courses in the English language. There are 19 undergraduate majors, including five in the Arts, eight in the Sciences and six in Business Administration, along with 22 minors.

Program Cost with Direct Enroll

UCA students pay tuition at the partner university for a direct enroll placement. Most scholarships apply. See the Financial Aid Guide. Students should check with Financial Aid and the Office of Study Abroad for more information regarding the budget. Students are eligible to apply for the Study Abroad Scholarship.
