The UCA Department of Music is a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive educational and artistic community of performers, composers, educators, and entrepreneurs whose mission is:

• to prepare leaders through professional development and collaboration among disparate disciplines

• to motivate through devoted and passionate teaching

• to share compelling performances by students, faculty, and internationally-acclaimed guest artists

• and to engage those we serve in the local area, the state of Arkansas, the South-Central region, and the greater global community.
