University Overview
The Hague University of Applied Sciences, or De Haagse Hogeschool in Dutch, was founded in 1987. The university offers a total of 42 higher education degrees and teaches around 23,400 students. THUAS hosts over 500 exchange students from around 50 countries every year. Most of its studies are concentrated in and around The Hague, the third largest city in the Netherlands with a population of around 2 million, in the Randstad metropolitan region in the southern Netherlands.
The Hague is situated on the North Sea coast in the province of South Holland. It is home to parliament, the prime minister and the royal family. Most of the country’s foreign embassies are located in The Hague, as well as over 150 international organizations. The city is one of the major cities that hosts the United Nations. The Hague is known as the home of international law and arbitration given that organizations such as the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court are located in The Hague.

Program Cost
