Center for Global Learning and Engagement (CGLE) is UCA’s unit that is dedicated to supporting prospective and current international students.   1. Q: What is the application fee, and can it be waived?
    A: The application fee is $50. This fee is non-refundable and non-waivable.
  2. Q: What is the application deadline?
    A: For fall and spring admissions, the deadlines are July 1 and November 1, respectively. For details, please visit here.
  3. Q: Do you admit for the summer term?
    A: We do not admit for the summer term unless in exceptional circumstances.
  4. Q: What are the admission requirements?
    A: Applicants must submit official TOEFL or IELTS scores, transcripts and diplomas for previous degrees, and credential evaluation for all non-U.S. transcripts by an AACRAO-approved evaluation agency. Please visit here for general requirements and here for program-specific requirements.
  5. Q: What is the minimum TOEFL/IELTS score required?
    A: The minimum required English proficiency score is 79 for TOEFL (iBT) and 6.5 for IELTS. For details and exceptions, please visit here.
  6. Q: What is the minimum GRE score required?
    A: We do not require the GRE.
  7. Q: Do you require an undergraduate degree in Computer Science?
    A: For direct admission to the MS program in Computer Science, the applicant must have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. Otherwise, the applicant may be required to take leveling courses or proficiency exams. For details, please visit here.

    A: We have two kinds of assistantships available: graduate teaching assistantships (GTA) and graduate research assistantships (GRA). Both positions are typically reserved for current students. Incoming students are eligible to apply for these positions once they successfully complete a semester at UCA.
