Our department has two officially affiliated Registered Student Organizations (RSOs): the Computer Science Club and the Cybersecurity Club. These organizations are the best way to stay connected to our students and faculty. Club meetings and events cover all things computer science and cybersecurity, ranging from technical demonstrations to internship hunting. Meetings are generally every other week, and will often feature speakers from the IT industry or our department.
- speakers from the IT industry, government agencies, and academia
- volunteer service opportunities and educational outreach programs
- coding and project demonstrations by fellow students
- resume and interview prep
- hands-on group lessons in technical skills
- department social hours, movie nights, and game nights
- participation in local, national, and international competitions
- fundraising events
Due to the risks posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, meetings will be entirely online for the Fall 2021 semester.
