Health Services Administration Intern
Arkanalabs is the biggest kidney pathology laboratory in the country processing more than 21,000 specimens per year. They are recruiting histotechnologists for their laboratory. As there are no Histotechnology schools in Arkansas, they decided to train their own histotechnologists, who after successful completion of the training can work in the lab. This is a paid training for a period of one year and salaries during and after the training are very competitive.
Arkana Laboratories is an esoteric pathology practice seeking individuals as paid interns who are interested in caring for patients behind the scenes. The ideal candidate should be ready to train in a pathology laboratory performing light microscopy, immunofluorescence, electron microscopy, immunohistochemistry and multiple other tests to make a diagnosis required to treat patients.

UCA Hosts Annual Day of Giving – When You Give, We Grow
Join thousands of Bears around the world as we make a difference on UCA Day of Giving 2022. From the expansion of academic programs to the addition of new facilities, UCA is growing — and your gift makes it possible.
You can give to one fund or multiple funds, and every dollar makes a difference.
COB Enhancement Fund | The College of Business is continuously improving its technology, its curriculum, and opportunities for students from scholarships to hands-on experiences within the business community. If you give to this fund, you’ll be part of making COB even better for current and future students and faculty.
Accounting Enhancement Fund | Giving to this fund means your gift goes straight to the College of Business Accounting Department. Your gift will:
- Help our accounting majors be successful through tutoring and professional development opportunities
- Build curriculum and hosting programs that inspire diverse students to pursue a career in accounting
- Develop learning activities that make the study of accounting an enjoyable community activity
Computer Information Systems and Analytics Fund | Formerly called Management Information Systems, the Computer Information Systems and Analytics department gives students experience with technology and data analysis. Giving to this fund helps the department continue to teach a business foundation and give students experience with the latest technological advances.
Economics and Finance Enhancement Fund | Alumni and friends of the EFIRM department may choose this fund to help students discover the best way to use available resources to meet the needs and desires of individuals, nations, corporations, and nonprofits.
Marketing and Management Enhancement Fund | Funds given to Marketing and Management support their mission by:
- providing an innovative and relevant curriculum that is refined through interaction with the business community
- enhancing the learning experience by emphasizing information technologies and collaborations with faculty and students
- encouraging professional involvement of students and faculty and continuing research efforts
- promoting lifelong learning, integrity, and ethical behavior
Whether you give a little or a lot, your dollars make a difference. You give, we grow. On March 10, let’s grow together.
