What you’ll be doing:
- Participate in an introductory apprenticeship training program that will provide you with the opportunity to be part of a fast-growing technology company while learning the foundation of Product/Business Analytic practices
- Participate and contribute to all facets of the product life cycle either independently or as part of a team
- Assist Product Management, Software Engineers and Architects execute on strategies to deliver value and innovation to our customers
- Contribute as a sounding board to a Product Manager or the Business Lead
- Enhance and/or develop First Orion empire products and services
- Provide data analysis, reporting, and technology implementations using industry leading principles, methodologies, and programs
- Serve as an extension to the Product Management Team and use the tools of record and methodology set forth by the Product Management Community Leader throughout the Software Development Lifecycle
- Research and develop an understanding of First Orion’s products, tools, and processes
- Participate in both self-driven, online education and projects using resources from respected external organizations and industry/company specific training with our in-house experts.
- Partner with an onsite mentor and a team of software engineering mentors plus, have an education program director to provide guidance along the way.

- After the introductory apprentice training program is completed, you will continue working in the Product Analyst position on full-time basis as an at-will employee. The introductory apprentice training program is not a separate position.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative or business field (Marketing, Business, Math, Computer Science) or related degree programs (e.g. Instructional design) and/or 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with requirements definition and data/data products
- Experience applying extensive analytic, business, and product defining skills to enhance or develop products and services
- Working knowledge of software development and structured data
- Ability to communicate findings
- Project management skills
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite
Bonus Points:
- Prior Internships completed
- Knowledgeable in the Agile Methodology and Scrum
- Knowledgeable with Atlassian Software Development Suite (Confluence/Jira/Bit Bucket)
- Knowledgeable in building business models and forecasting
- Telecom experience
