The Big Event

The Big Event at UCA is a student-led organization that provides volunteer services annually to complete projects submitted by Conway community members. The Vision of the Big Event General Committee is to involve every UCA student, faculty, and staff member in the Big Event to strengthen the bond between UCA and the Conway community by acts of selfless service.

The next Big Event is scheduled for the morning of Saturday, March 14th, 2020!

The Big Event is a time when University of Central Arkansas students, staff, and faculty members along with the Conway community can unite in a campus-wide effort for one BIG day to impact our community. The Big Event impacts numerous community members in the city of Conway and surrounding areas. We offer services such as: campus clean-up, yard work, small renovations, house cleaning, etc. at no cost to the community members.

Job Requests are open to UCA faculty & staff, the Conway community, and the Conway community nonprofits!

Requests will be open from November 15th, 2019 to February 6th, 2020. A member of the Big Event Committee will contact you a few weeks prior to March 14th to confirm the details of your submission and verify the appropriateness of the request for the Big Event. Please feel free to email with any questions you may have!
