Physical Therapy

Physical therapy is a dynamic health care profession delivered by licensed physical therapists (PTs) who examine, diagnose and treat individuals all ages and abilities.  UCA offers three programs in physical therapy.logo, drawing of PT center and UCA Physical Therapy est 1970

The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is a clinical doctorate degree preparing individuals to become licensed PTs.  Get the best return on your investment and the most value for your money.  UCA graduates are consistently sought after for employment.

The PhD in Physical Therapy is an advanced degree preparing physical therapists to become scholars.  Earn a PhD in Physical Therapy. As a DPT student you can also pursue the PhD in Physical Therapy.

The Pediatric Physical Therapy Residency is a one-year program offering advancement of skills in pediatrics.  A wealth of pediatric knowledge and experience is shared with residents of the PT Pediatric Residency UCA program.

Physical Therapy Center

Faculty in the Department are known nationally, and many are board-certified specialists in their field.

The Physical Therapy Center is a 44,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility.

The PT Department is a part of the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences and is chaired by Dr. Kevin Garrison, PT, PhD.
