Max Milan graduated from UCA’s Physics Department with a Bachelor of Science in the summer of 2016, shortly after getting engaged to another UCA Physics graduate, Cassie Lange. Max served as the President of UCA’s Society of Physics Students chapter from 2014-2015. After graduation, he entered graduate school at Texas A&M University where he earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering on the Structural Engineering track in the summer of 2018. His thesis work involved modeling the behavior of lightning around tethered lighter-than-air vehicles. After graduating with his Master’s, Max moved to Dallas, Texas to work as a Structural Engineer at L.A. Fuess Partners where he analyzes and designs the structural systems for architectural projects including schools, hospitals, police stations, fire stations, and other municipal buildings. Max and his wife, Cassie, currently live in the DFW metroplex.
