Philosophy Honors Program
Students who major in philosophy and who demonstrate exceptional ability may request or may be invited to enter the philosophy honors program, part of the UCA Honors in the Major program. (Note: The Philosophy Honors Program is not affiliated with the Schedler Honors College and is available to any student who meets the requirements.)
Those interested in the honors program should also consider joining Phi Sigma Tau, the international honors society for undergraduate philosophy students.

Requirements
In addition to or as one of the courses required for a major in the area, the student must:
- Complete PHIL 4301 Philosophy Honors Tutorial
- Maintain a minimum 3.25 grade point average overall, and a 3.5 grade point average in the major
- Complete an honors theses in conjunction with PHIL 4301
- Pass an oral examination on the thesis conducted by three faculty members.
