 Program Description

“Theatre in London” is designed to offer an appreciation of theatre by immersing the student in multiple live theatrical experiences, workshops, theatre tours, and museums in one of the world’s premier cities for the dramatic arts. The attempt is to learn more about ourselves while attempting to help the student gain the ability to appreciate, analyze, evaluate, and enjoy theatrical experiences within their artistic, socio-political and cultural contexts.

Experiences will include: seeing several different performances (Globe, West End, Fringe, National Theatre, and RSC productions), having workshops from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, and the Royal Shakespeare Company, touring famous theatres like the National Theatre and the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, and experiencing the culture and history of London.

Students must be majoring or minoring in Theatre to attend. Enrollment is limited to 16 participants

Locations: London, UK / Stratford-Upon-Avon, UK
