Chad Terrell, Instructor,

Chad Terrell has traveled to England several times, but this is his first time leading a program. At UCA he earned BA and MA degrees in English literature and language, making the UK and its culture central to his study. With a background in guitar as well as recording technology, he has performed in rock bands and engineered live sound and recording production. He has a deep interest in The Beatles, having pursued scholarship about them from the time he was a student in the Honors College (Class of ’96).
Chad Terrell
Dr. Rick Scott studied classical piano for a decade in his youth, and motivated to join a band after seeing The Beatles on American TV has been performing and writing rock music since 1966. As a sociologist he has taught many courses for the Honors College on Anglo-American culture and counterculture in the post-war era. UCA in the UK will be his second education abroad trip, having gone to Tanzania in 2007.
Rick and Chad have co-taught honors seminars on The Beatles and their impact on popular music and culture for the past seven years. Rick retires in 2017 and this will be his final course, wrapping up a 34-year career at UCA.
