Attend Convocation & the Class Picture
- Convocation will take place on Sunday, August 18 during Welcome Week
- To earn credit: Complete the Self-Report form to let us know you were there! Make sure to go to the Welcome Week verification portion of the form for this event.
Attend one home UCA Bears or Sugar Bears game
- UCA Athletics is home to seventeen different sports! You can find the schedule for each sport by visiting ucasports.com, hovering over “Sports”, then selecting the schedule. You can also find home games listed on CubConnect.
- To earn credit: Take a selfie of you enjoying your time cheering on the Bears or Sugar Bears! Complete the Self-Report form and share with us when you attended and upload your picture.
Attend one event during Homecoming Week
- UCA’s Homecoming Week will be October 21-26. To earn credit: Take a selfie of you at one of the events and complete the Self-Report form to let us know what event you attended.
- Monday, October 21 – Pep Rally – 7:00pm – Farris Center – doors open at 6:00pm
- Tuesday, October 22 – SAB Fall Festival – 12:00-6:00pm – HPER Center Parking Lot
- Tuesday, October 22 – Yeah Glow! – 7:00-10:00pm – NPHC Complex Lawn
- Wednesday, October 23 – Parade – 5:30pm – Starts at Farris Center and winds through campus
- Wednesday, October 23 – Block is Hot – 6:00pm – Ronnie Williams Student Center Courtyard/Amphitheater
- Thursday, October 24 – Housing and Residence Life Homecoming Flag Football Tournament – 6:00pm – Intramural Fields – sign up in the lobby of your hall or with your Residence Coordinator
- Friday, October 25 – Food Truck Festival – 11:00am-3:00pm – Old Main Lawn
- Friday, October 25 – Step Show – 7:30pm – Farris Center – Doors open at 6:30pm
- Remember to cheer on the Bears Football team at the Homecoming game at 4:00pm and upload your picture on the Self-Report form for the “attend a UCA Bears game” Bucket List item!
Take a picture with three Bear statues on campus
- There are Bears around every corner if you look! To earn credit: Take a picture with you (and some friends if you want!) at three of the Bears on campus. Upload those pictures to the Self-Report form. We can’t wait to see them!!

- Dawn, the Bear Chair – Ronnie Williams Student Center, between The UCA Bookstore and BearCard office
- Gene Hatfield Bear – visitor entrance of Estes Stadium (football field), next to Bear Hall
- Farris Center Bear – lobby of the Farris Center (basketball arena)
- Bronze Bear – entrance of Bear Hall
- Otis – scaling the side of Donaghey Hall
- Valor II – stands outside of Wingo Hall
Explore the arts on Campus
- UCA has a long history of a focus on the Arts, and there are many different ways you can get involved.
- To earn credit: upload a picture of you participating in one of the following artistic events through the Self-Report form:
- Attend a show at Reynolds Performance Hall – special pricing for UCA students is available by visiting the Reynolds Performance Hall Box office, open weekdays 10am-4pm
- Listen to a music recital featuring UCA students or faculty
- Attend a student theatre production
- Visit the Baum Gallery or Windgate Art Gallery
- Attend an Artists in Residence event
Vote in Student Government Association (SGA) elections in the fall
- Similar to high school, the Student Government Association (SGA) advocates for all students. Each fall, first year students vote on their class leadership to represent them on SGA.
- Voting will be held on CubConnect starting at 12:00am on September 9th and end at 11:00am on September 12th.
- To earn credit: log into CubConnect and vote! Your participation will be recorded but not tied to your vote in any manner.
