Living Learning Community Move-In Day – 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
It’s time to move to campus! For more information about the Living Learning Community Move-In Day process, visit this website. You can find your assigned Living Learning Community on myUCA, then select the “My Housing” tile.
Minton Commuter College Open House – 5:30 pm
Students who commute to UCA have their own learning community, and we want to help you connect with other students from day one! Join us for the Minton Commuter College Open House and Pop-In Pizza Party to kick off Welcome Week! With free food, a chance to meet the Minton faculty and peer mentors, and the opportunity to drop-in and visit our lounge and computer lab where you’ll have access to resources just for commuters, you won’t want to miss it! Afterward, we invite you to walk over to UCA’s opening Convocation and cap the night off with fireworks on the football field. RSVP here by Friday, August 15th.

Opening Convocation & Playfair – 7:30 pm
Farris Center and Estes Stadium
Doors open at 7:00pm. Entry and seating will take some time. Plan to arrive at the Farris Center no later than 7:15pm.
Have your phone handy to scan in for Convocation so you can receive credit for the New Bear Bucket List!
Make sure you’re there when the Class of 2029 gathers for the official opening of the academic year. You’ll hear from the President, Provost, Vice President of Student Affairs, and your SGA President. You’ll receive a free Class of 2029 t-shirt to wear in the official class picture and you won’t want to miss the Class of 2029 video and fireworks show!
We’ll cap off the evening with Playfair, where you’ll meet more people in this one enjoyable session than you just might meet all semester! A night full of memories to close out your first day on campus!
