Attend Conway Daze

  • Conway Daze will take place on Wednesday, August 20 during Welcome Week in the Thomas C. Courtway Student Recreation Center
  • Come browse booths and pick up information, coupons, discounts, and free giveaway items and leave more knowledgeable about Conway and the UCA communities.
  • To earn credit: Scan your BearCard with the SOSers as you walk around Conway Daze. SOSers will be stationed at the Department of First Year Experience tables.

Attend an event sponsored by the Student Activities Board (SAB)

  • The Student Activities Board (SAB) brings musicians, comedians, speakers, movies, and fun activities to campus. You can find about the events they are hosting through their CubConnect page or following them on social media: @uca_sab.

Attend an event sponsored by the Department of First Year Experience

  • The Department of First Year Experience (FYE) is committed to supporting the successful transition of first-year students and families by orienting, welcoming, and acclimating them to the UCA community. After SOAR and Welcome Week conclude, FYE continues hosting initiatives (like the New Bear Bucket List) and programs.

    • New Bear Bucket List Kickoff – Tuesday, August 19th – 11am – Ida Waldran Auditorium (inside Old Main Hall)
    • New Bear Beginnings Celebration – Thursday, October 2nd

    • That’s a Wrap: Holiday Study Break – Tuesday, December 2nd

Join a Recognized Student Organization (RSO)

  • UCA’s Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) are the heart of getting involved on campus. There are nearly 200 RSOs in categories such as Academic, Club Sports, Cultural, Greek, Honorary, Recreational, Faith-Based, Spirit, Wellness, Service, and more!
