Daylan Moore, Ph.D., NCC, LAC, joined the UCA Counseling Staff in August 2023. As a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), he enjoys helping others process life transitions, heal from racial trauma, and work through religious identity development. Dr. Moore has clinical experience working with individuals and groups from adolescents to geriatric populations in outpatient, acute hospitalization, and college community mental health settings.

Clinically, Dr. Moore integrates person-centered, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused, and multicultural/social justice counseling practices. Additionally, Dr. Moore teaches Master’s-Level Counseling courses. Locally, he is actively involved in the community by consulting and providing educational workshops to diverse leaders and organizations about improving employee well-being and organizational practices.

Dr. Moore earned a Master’s degree (M.S.) and an Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Harding University’s CACREP-Accredited Program in 2021. Dr. Moore successfully defended his doctoral dissertation in February 2025, and his Ph.D. in Counseling and Psychological Studies (emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology) at Regent University will be conferred in May 2025.
