UCA Gamma Iota Sigma’s (GIS) goals are to enhance industrial relationships and professional development for our students and to improve career opportunities through increasing knowledge of risk management, insurance, and actuarial science.
GIS provides student members with professional development and prepares them for high-quality employment opportunities. This is achieved through scholarships, internships, interview workshops, a resume book each semester, guest speakers, conference attendances, and other risk management and insurance activities such as Arkansas Insurance Hall of Fame, Youth Insurance Forum, Risk Management Residence program, etc.
