Why she chose her major:
“The business field in the United States is constantly growing, whether it’s through entrepreneurship, small businesses or innovation. I chose to major specifically in Marketing because of the endless opportunities this career field can present. There’s so much room for creativity, passion and growth with a business degree. As a Hispanic woman, I also believe in inclusivity and with the lack of representation in this industry it’s important to pay attention to diversity in the workplace. Majoring in business also gives me the chance to do what I love most, which is to form relationships and network. One of my favorite things to do is meet new people and make connections which is crucial in the business industry. Majoring in business will give me opportunities to dive into many different fields with a Marketing degree whether it’s fashion, hospitality or corporate.”
