Jimmy Corley has served as Executive Director of the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy since 2010. He is a licensed CPA in Arkansas and earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Central Arkansas.
Jimmy began his professional career in public accounting, working for Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
He also has experience in the private industry, working in the telecommunications and staffing industries.
Jimmy is a member of the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and has served as chair of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy Executive Director’s Committee and served on the American Institute of CPAs State Board and CPA Exam Practice Analysis Advisory Committees. He also currently serves on the AICPA’s Board of Examiners, which oversees the development and administration of the CPA exam.
Jimmy’s wife and mother-in-law are also CPAs. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and sons, Walt and Jack.
