Job • UCA • Budget Program Coordinator

The Budget Program Coordinator position is responsible for a variety of tasks in the Budget Office in a higher education environment. The primary duties will involve assisting in the preparation of the fiscal year budget for the budgeted salaried positions, provide position control for the posting and hiring for budgeted positions, and completing budget transfers to maintain an accurate balance for each department.

Ability to analyze budgets and provide support for the campus, assist in providing budget training in a small group setting, and exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills. This position will supervise one full time employee along with two students. This position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
