Bryan W. Massey, Sr, Professor of Sculpture and Department Chair was selected and commissioned to design and create the Arkansas Arts Council 2022 Arkansas Governors Awards. The sculpture weighs 3.5 lbs and is approximately 17″ tall; made with an aluminum body, a carved alabaster sphere, on a red base. The sculpture is called “Balance” with the inner markings representing the trials and issues of life and how we balance everything in our lives on top of all we face day to day. The Awards Ceremony will take place in mid-March 2022.
