Suyao Tian

Suyao Tian, 2015 BA Fine Art Emphasis, graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) in May, 2017 with an MFA.  At MCAD, she received the Van Derlip Award, bestowed on one MFA student each year.  Suyao and her husband Tim have started Modern Cover, https://www.moderncover.net/ , which makes mittens for children and adults.  Suyao designs the colors and patterns of the mittens, which are produced in China.
